Delays force firm to ditch care home plans

Delays to projects has prompted a property company to pull out of ajoint care home venture. Morgan Ashley Care Developments will now be solely owned by developer Morgan Sindall after it bought Ashley House's 50% share for £2m. Morgan Ashley specialises in managing design, build and financing of purpose-built schemes for elderly people. It has completed care home projects in partnership with Essex and Hampshire CCs, and Leeds and York city councils, among others.
