Trading arm expansion

North Yorkshire CC's trading arm has acquired a company that will allow it to expand into the rest of Yorkshire and beyond. HC Associates, which provides dedicated schools human resources (HR) services, has been bought by North Yorkshire Education Service (NYES). Founder of HC Associates, Helen Cooper, said: 'It has been difficult to find an alternative supplier for our customers, but I believe we have found a provider who has a solid knowledge base in education HR within NYES' established team of experienced education HR professionals.'
