CQC completes mental health trust inspections

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) says it has completed its inspections of all 56 mental health NHS trusts in England, and the picture which emerges is varied. It has rated 47 of the 56 mental health trusts in England. Nearly two-thirds (29) 'requires improvement' and around a third are 'good' (17). One (Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust) has been rated as 'inadequate' and is currently in special measures. None have yet been rated as 'outstanding'.
