Councils often struggle to get people to interact with their websites so congratulations to Boston BC who uploaded a video that went viral. Footage of four young men straightening up a damaged bike rack was captured on CCTV at 3am. Politicians were quick to climb on the publicity saddle, with Boston mayor Cllr Paul Kenny promising to give the men a certificate of commendation. The owner of the Boston Delight fast food joint also got involved - though quite what the 'slap-up meal' he has promised from his menu of kebabs, burgers and fried chicken will feature is unclear. Two million people have already viewed the bike rack film - though sadly not all of them via the council's site. Dwight from Texas was one user who did log on to comment and his eye may also have been caught by news of the council's 'poo patrols'.
