Ex-NHS chief takes up top Welsh health post

The Welsh Government has appointed a former NHS chief executive, Dr Andrew Goodall, to lead health and social care in the country. Dr Goodall has worked for the NHS for 23 years, including nine as a chief executive, and will head the Welsh Government's Department for Health and Social Services. In addition, he will also serve as chief executive of NHS Wales. He will take up the post in June.
