Nspcc figures suggest there are almost 90,000 children in care across the country - a similar number to the population of a small town. This is staggering, and the Government is looking at a range of measures such as reducing the time it takes to adopt, in an effort to cut the figures. The fact is, we all want these children living in stable family settings, and it's largely thanks to fantastic people like foster carers that our vulnerable youngsters have some stability until permanent solutions are found.
