Veredus Executive Resourcing and Interim Management last week hosted the second in a series of seminars aimed at encouraging senior managers in children's services to take the step up to becoming directors of children's services. Whilst assisting a number of local authorities in their recruitment to the DCS post, Veredus has noted a marked shortage of people ready to take on this exciting and high profile role, so we invited incumbent assistant directors and heads of service to reflect on their future options.
