Successfully established as a member and sector-led partnership run by and for the local government sector, Improvement East has worked with partners to develop a range of support packages across shared regional priorities. Work programmes have been designed around the needs of authorities and their partners, with strong focuses on efficiency and performance, as well as on working to assist local strategic partnerships (LSPs) and the delivery of local area agreements (LAAs), a factor which becomes increasingly important as the sector moves towards the Comprehensive Area Assessment and a greater emphasis of area-wide, cross-partner performance and efficiency.
