摘要

Few events have such a profound impact on a very local community than the murder of a young person as a result of violence by other youngsters.Sadly, in London, it is an issue we have had to grapple with, particularly in recent years. In 2008,30 young people died as a result of serious youth violence in the capital.It prompted the establishment of a Serious Youth Violence Board, with the aim of bringing together all those working to tackle the issue, and to improve the way we work together to keep young people safe.
