The Alzheimer's Society has joined forces with supermarket giant, Tes-co, to raise £5m to tackle dementia.The charity published figures last week showing the number of people with dementia in each part of the UK, and the percentage of those who received a diagnosis.According to the research, an esti-mated 38% of people with dementia living in Milton Keynes had actually been diagnosed, while in Belfast the estimate was 69% 'It is really concerning that six out of 10 people with dementia don't have a diagnosis, and so can't access the support they badly need,' said Alzheimer's Society chief executive, Jeremy Hughes.
