Bosses ask sector to pay bills within 10 days

Business chiefs have called on councils and other public sector organisations to pay their bills within 10 days.The European Union recently agreed to an amendment of its Late Payments Directive, setting a deadline of 30 days for public sector bodies, but the Forum ofPrivate Business, wants British organisations to honour a 10-day target, which was set in 2008.
