The chancellor, George Osborne, will boost infrastructure investment in a bid to create growth, he revealed in the Autumn Statement this week. The mini-Budget revealed plans for capital investment in transport infrastructure, broadband and science infrastructure. There will also be an extra /ibn funding for schools, with 100 new academies and free schools.
