Human rights experts from across Europe will hear about the success of Wyre BC's hate crime project later this month. Dr Lewis Turner, who is the borough's hate crime officer, has been invited to speak at an experts meeting with the European Commissioner for Human Rights in Strasbourg on 18 November. He said: 'People are quite willing to come forward and report incidents of hate crime if you can build up an element of trust.'
