Intervention by the Welsh Assembly has not assisted the Isle of Anglesey CC's difficulty with service delivery, the Auditor General has concluded in a damning report. The corporate governance re-inspection report concludes the council will not achieve a full and sustainable recovery by August 2011, and is 'uncertain' it will be able to do so by the local council elections of May 2012.
