LGA offers guidance in run-up to launch of care White Paper

Council chiefs have set out three main tests for adult social care reform, ahead of the imminent publication of a White Paper this spring.Issued on 15 March by the Local Government Association (LGA), the guide suggests as a first test that government proposals should: improve the individual user's experience; give the care system stability, predictability and transparency, and encourage a long-term view; and pool all local resources and provide sufficient funding that is appropriately directed.
