Cheshire West and Chester Council is to seek public opinion on the way it delivers local services as it attempts to hit a £50m savings target by 2018. A review will present locals with a number of options for service provision, including sharing with other organisations, private sector delivery, co-operatives and in-house services. The results will be used to decide whether the council is delivering what residents both want and need - and at what cost. Cllr Mike Jones, leader, said: 'The potential for change is huge and it is vital that we understand what the public thinks.'
