What do top teams in local government look like and how is this changing? Given what we know about this subject, does it lead us towards interventions to try to secure a diverse range of future talent? Every couple of years in London we look at the profile of management teams. Perhaps not surprisingly, those teams have been getting smaller - the average size is now down to five in London boroughs. The number of teams where all statutory officer roles are included has also declined. Mostly, we continue to have weekly meetings, but those meetings take less time than previous surveys have revealed.
