Home Counties are top for tackling ill-health

Home county local authorities are the best performers in tackling the overall economic, environmental and social causes of ill-health, according to latest figures. Hart, South Oxfordshire, Waverley, West Oxfordshire, Wokingham, East Hampshire and Chiltern all appear in the top ten table compiled by researchers Local Futures. However, Rush-cliffe and South Northamptonshire are number two and five respectively.
