In the space of just two years, the Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP) has helped create or safeguard more than 1,500 jobs in the county and attract more than £14m in investment. 'It's about driving growth and we have an on-going conversation about how we can best achieve that,' says NEP executive director, Rob Purdie. 'The recent Heseitine report was a real game-changer for us.We were at a local enterprise partnership (LEP) conference a couple of weeks ago and that event certainly indicated a new direction of travel for LEPs and we're all very aware of that.'
