I write this article on the day a three year old toddler has been reported killed by a van as her buggy is blown into the road. A very sad event that will be devastating for her family and close friends and heart felt by us the public and particularly by those of us who have toddlers ourselves. Also sad, is that by the time this article is read, only some two weeks after the event, very few will be able to recall the tragedy, let alone the poor girl's name. This never used to be the case and somehow and for some reason our level of humanity has declined.
