Blue is for city cops, brown is for county cops, maroon is for troopers and green is for game wardens... and so the story goes. That's the law of Minnesota and it sure sounds simple and easy for all to understand. That is of course unless you want to confuse the law or make it hard for someone to figure out just who is who. Then to further complicate things throw private security in to the mix and the various colored uniforms they sport as well as their BDU fashions and SWAT appearance and boy now you've got a down right mystery for the average citizen to figure out. Will the real cop please stand up!
