The Ramsey County Sheriff's Department is proud to present - COLD WEATHER ONE-ON-ONE CONTROL TACTICS.rnEvery year Law Enforcement agencies in Minnesota are required to participate in Adverse/Cold Weather firearms training. This is for good reason: this is a necessary skill for our environment. While the majority of Law Enforcement Officers will never have to fire their weapons in the line of duty, most will need to control and handcuff suspects every day of their careers - including during the cold-weather months - but most LEOs never receive specific training designed to perform these tasks in a cold-weather environment.
