I Love Mini

Burt Van Der Walt from South Africa is a true Mini fan, owning a bunch of cool Minis including a Pick-up, a Mk1 850cc and a Wolseley Hornet with a 1380cc engine. Burt's collection also includes this highly modified 1972 Mini Estate. The Mini originated in Australia and has been treated to a two-and-a-half year restoration project. This is the end result. Currently the Mini is fitted with a standard 998cc engine with twin carbs and electronic ignition, although by the time you read this, Burt may have installed a bigger 1275cc engine. The interior is a tasty custom affair, with an awesome carbon-fibre dash with some custom gauges and retrimmed seats and panels. The wheels are Superlite replicas from Japan and there is a hint of New Mini, with the cheeky bonnet badge and airvent. A truly International Mini!
