Estate seatbelts

I have a 1969 Mk2 Traveller that I have lightly restored and intend to use for a few local shows. I would like to fit child seats in the rear so I can travel with my two children, and would like to know where to mount rear seatbelts, particularly the shoulder mounting as the large rear windows limit the position. I think I can replicate the bottom mounting similar to the latest Mini, putting the reel in the rear door bin, reinforcing the area and mounting the seatbelt anchor on the heel board to satisfy the MOT man. Do I need to have the modification assessed by the DVLA? I am sure I can't be the first to ask as there are so many Clubby Estates out there that are being used to transport the family.
