Works Minis in Detail is an incredibly comprehensive book comprising 840 photos, some of which have never been published before. It covers all 77 of the BMC and BL Works Minis during an 11-year period, from the 850s through to the Clubman, in both rallying and circuit racing, with a large proportion dedicated to BMC's most successful Mini, the Cooper S. It charts the victories and failures with car-by-car analysis, including their specifications and history. If you have a passion for the Mini's history, then this book is a real must-have item. This hefty 423-page hardback book gives an amazing insight into both the people and cars of the BMC Works team. There are great photos to study in detail as well as informed analysis of each car. The author, Robert Young, is the Chairman and Ex-Works & Competition Car Registrar of the Mini Cooper Register. It is a great book to dip into but quite hard to put down and gives MCR's amazing Works car displays at Beaulieu even more life and meaning.
