Intermec Inc. is helping Charleston County, South Caroli na, boost recycling participation and recycling levels with the use of RFID technology, reported RFID News. In an ini tial pilot effort, some 5,000 homes have been issued recy cling carts with RFID tags which enable the county to accurately measure and identify recycling participation and increase collection operations productivity.
