According to the American Forest & Paper Association's May 2012 U.S. Recovered Fiber Monthly Report, total U.S. industry consumption of recovered paper in May was 2.54 million tons, three percent higher than April 2012. Year-to-date consumption in 2012 is three percent lower than during the same period last year.
