U.S. Government Releases Solid Waste Industry Safety Factsheet

The National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA) reported that the National Institute of Safety and Occupational Health (NIOSH) recently has published a solid waste industry factsheet on the NIOSH web site. In it's references, the factsheet includes the URLs for NSWMA's web site and the Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC) Z245 safety standards. NSWMA plans to distribute the factsheet along with its other industry safety resources.
