ISRI Response To EPA Clarification Of Recycling Plastics

The Institute of Recycling Industries (ISRI) released a statement by ISRI President Robin Wiener in response to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's recent clarification that the separation and recycling of plastics from shredder aggregate is allowed under existing regulation: "ISRI is very appreciative that EPA has issued this letter providing clarification that the existing PCB regulations allow for the separation, recycling, distribution in commerce and reuse of plastics recycled from shredder aggregate from the recycling of automobiles and appliances.
