VAN DYK Provides Equipment For Perpetual Recycling Plant

Empire builders David Bender, CEO of Perpetual Recycling Solutions, and his CFO, Carter Smith, have opened the largest and most advanced PET processing plant in the U.S., in Richmond, Indiana. The facility accepts post-consumer bales of plastics and turns them into pristine flake for food-grade applications. It is designed to process 105 million pounds annually. The plant purchased a sorting system from VAN DYK Recycling Solutions—the exclusive distributor of Bollegraaf Recycling Machinery, a shredding and wash line from the Italian-based firm, Sorema Plastic Recycling System, and an optical sorter from the German market leader,TITECH. "Being a relative newcomer in the established PET industry, we knew we had to get a good team together to help us with the process technology," said David Bender.
