CarbonLite’s Pennsylvania Facility Starts Up

Los Angeles, California-based CarbonLite Holdings LLC hasbegun production at its Reading, Pennsylvania, plant, whichit describes as “the largest stand-alone bottle-to-bottle recyclingfacility in the world.” This is the company’s third plant,which it said will process 140 million pounds of postconsumerpolyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is the equivalentof 2.5 billion bottles, producing 90 million pounds offood-grade rPET pellets annually.
