Dairy UK to reschedule conference

Dairy UK has postponed the international conference and dinner itrnplanned to hold on the day before the Dairy Event at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, following the cancellation of the show due to the foot and mouth outbreak. Dairy UK director general Jim Begg said: "Foot and mouth disease poses a huge threat to the British agriculture and food industry. Since the start of this latest outbreak, the industry has been working collectively to ensure the highest level of biosecurity is implemented across the country and is focused intensely on managing the ramifications of the outbreak.
