Dairy UK Director Jim Begg was "delighted and honoured" to be presented with the Dairy Industry Award at this year's Bath and West Dairy Show. The prestigious award, which is sponsored by LloydsTSB Agriculture and Dairy Crest, is made to an individual who, in the opinion of the panel of judges, has made the greatest contribution towards the development of the dairy industry. Mr Begg was presented with the Award by the Countess of Wessex at the Dairy Industry Dinner. "This was a real surprise," commented Begg. "I am both delighted and honoured to receive this award, which has been presented to so many eminent and worthy recipients in the past.
