SHOT Show Preview: Weapons, Optics and Ammunition

As the Great Power Competition continues to drive requirements for many armed forces around the world, those forces look set to remain focused on required levels of lethality in order to defeat maturing and increasingly effective body armour solutions. However, much will also depend upon next-generation designs in terms of ammunition, fire control systems as well as accessories, including optical weapon sights. Also of prime importance will be the tactics, techniques and procedures employed by end users in order to maximise their personal weapon systems, optimizing their advantage as they seek to maintain tactical overmatch across increasingly complex battlespaces.
