Navies intend to re-orientate toward improved warfare capabilities. This scheme includes symmetric warfare scenarios for which naval fleets seek more advanced platforms. Frigates, corvettes and both patrol vessels and mine countermeasures vessels fitted with excellent sensors and weapons, as well as communications, decision-aids and other C4I means are sought by small- and medium-size naval fleets to maintain and gain superiority in the variety of mission scenarios.
