Military Helicopter Programmes Update

In an era when unmanned air systems are entering military air orders of battle at a quickening pace, defence departments around the globe continue to invest in new manned helicopters. While transport and utility platforms still find favour with the services, military forces are also buying helicopters in increasing numbers which permit them to more fully dominate warfare domains. At the same time, military services are enhancing their current rotary aircraft fleets to allow them to remain relevant on an increasingly complex battlefield well beyond this decade. MT selectively looks at the burgeoning number of activities and enabling innovations occurring throughout the life cycle of military helicopters in different global regions.
