Total employment resulting from these orders is estimated at some 100,000 personnel employed directly and indirectly in over 400 companies throughout Europe. In detail, the Eurofighter programme sustains some 25,000 jobs in Germany, 20,000 in Italy, 25,000 in Spain and 40,000 in the UK.
