Financial Results of 2009

Dassault Aviation reported a 2009 net profit of €315 million, down from €384 million the previous year, and announced at the 17 March press conference cancellations of 65 FALCON business jets due for delivery after 2014. Chief Executive Charles Edelstenne also said he fully supported a controversial re-organisation launched by his counterpart at systems company Thales. On the outlook for sales of corporate jets in the current year, Edelstenne said they are still in the crisis. He forecast a sales figure similar to that of 2009, barring any catastrophe.
