MT: Saab Training and Simulation continues to grow, even acquiring leading Czech training and simulation company E-Com, whilst other leading companies are cutting back on staff -by as much as 1/3 in some cases. What is your secret? H. Hojer: We don't have any secrets as such. I believe our continuing success can be attributed to the close cooperation we have with our customers and understanding their needs and willing to go the extra mile to help them. We have also demonstrated we are able to develop new training solutions in short order to solve their urgent evolving training needs. Our company needs to have a robust and effective relationship with our customers. We must sustain a collective understanding of the needs of today and the potential needs of tomorrow and offer fitting training solutions. As you mentioned, we have recently acquired E-COM -a leading virtual simulation and training systems company. Their domain knowledge and experience of designing and producing Virtual training solutions provides the training capability required to augment Saab's well established live domain. The virtual simulation capability broadens and enhances the range of training that can be conducted.
