The President's Currently Serving Spouse Advisory Council serves as an internal focus group to help MOAA better understand the needs and issues facing officers and their families.rnMOAA established the council in 2007, and since then councils have worked to refine and develop MOAA publications such as the Military Family Legislative Action Guide, Family Matters: A Personal Inventory for Peace of Mind, and the Post-9/11 GI Bill eBook; provide inputrnon pending family legislation; participate in marketing focus groups; and raise staff awareness of military family issues.
