In March, DoD proposed moving some asthma inhalers to the third tier, or $22 copayment level, including: Alvesco, Perforomist, Pulmicort Flexhaler, and QVAR. Aerobid and Azmacort also were moved to the third tier but are expected to be removed from the market because they contain chlorofluorocarbon propellant.rnThe following inhaler medications will remain at lower copayments of either $3 or $9: Advair HFA, Asmanex, Brovana, Diskus, Floradil, Flovent HFA, Pulmicort Respules, Serevent, and Symbicort.
