Keep Them Safe

Kansas chapter members are shipping school supplies to deployed troops who give them to needy children in Iraq and Afghanistan. The program not only boosts troops' morale, it also helps keep them safe.rnOne of the ways MOAA councils and chapters are helping America's service-members is by engaging in programs that support units deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan to fight in the war on terrorism. This issue, we highlight a successful effort going on in Kansas, run by MOAA's Kansas Council of Chapters President Col. Gary LaGrange, USA-Ret., and involving MOAA chapters in the state.
