Note: Many of these aircraft are unserviceable due to a lack of spares and essential maintenance. It is believed that only 10-20 percent of the aircraft are flyable (as distinct from operational). Attrition rates due to accidents and combat losses are reportedly very high. Note: Up to 25 Myanmar Navy ships were reportedly sunk in May 2008 during Cyclone Nargis, with heavy loss of life. Five ships - the diving support ship Yan Lon Aung, the patrol craft Yan Sit Aung, the river gunboat Y312, the survey craft 802, and an unidentified ship - were sunk at Thilawa naval dockyard. 2,400 tons; six 21-inch (533mm) torpedoes; built in St. Petersburg, Russia, for Indian Navy 2,700 tons full load, 107-meter hulls; likely a derivative of the Chinese Jiangwei I class ships; armed with one 76mm L62 Oto Melara gun, Russian-made Kh-35E Uran anti-ship missiles, and AK-630 30mm short-range air defense systems 1,729 tons full load; 26 knots; 4,000-nautical-mile range at 15 knots; HY-2 (CSSC-3 Seersucker) surface-to-surface missiles; can carry up to 60 mines; two RBU-1200 five-tubed fixed mortar launchers; former Chinese Navy Jianghu class frigates built in the 1980s and transferred to Myanmar on March 8, 2012.
