NASA eyes smallsat and instruments to explore atmospheres of gas giant planets

U.S. space exploration experts are reaching out to industry to find companies able to design small satellites (small-sats) to analyze the outermost region of giant gaseous planets outside the Earth's solar system. Officials of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Marshall Space Flight Center near Hunts-ville, Ala., have issued a request for information (80MSFC19ST329) for the Smallsat Exploration of the Exospheres of Nearby Hot Jupiters Orbiting X-ray Bright Stars (SEEJ) Mission Support Capability project.
