Low noise gain block amplifier covers 2- to 18-GHz single bias operation is suitable for a wide variety of applications

Mimix Broadband has made available a two stage, low noise gain block amplifier that has a self-biased architecture, designated CMM1100-QF. It is offered in a 4x4-mm RoHS-compliant QFN package, and delivers excellent RF and thermal properties. The amplifier covers the 2 GHz to 18 GHz frequency bands, provides 3.8 dB noise figure, and delivers 15 dB gain and 15 dBm PldB. It is well suited for a variety of applications, including fiber optic, microwave radio, military, space, telecom infrastructure, test instrumentation and VSAT.
