Islands in Time: Images from UCSD's Melanesian Archive

Take an "armchair voyage" to Oceania! Nearly 6,000 photographs depicting the people and places of the Pacific Islands are now available on the Online Archive of California (in the three collections described below) and Calisphere. The photographs, which may also be accessed through the UCSD Digital Library Collections (DLC), were contributed by UCSD's Mandeville Special Collections Library, from the collections of the Melanesian Archive.
