Revolutionary Digitization: Building a Participatory Archive to Document the January 25th Uprising in Egypt

Archivists use existing and develop new procedures and systems to collect community-contributed photographs, videos, oral histories, news coverage, scholarly communications, Twitter feeds, web sites, and printed ephemera from demonstrators, scholars, and politicians as part of the University on the Square: Documenting Egypt's 21st Century Revolution project. By actively participating in archival projects, contributors within and outside of AUC continue to build an archive that documents the January 25th Revolution.
