摘要

We are interested in the reproductive fitness of Glaucous-winged Gulls as measured by hatching success. Each year from 2006 to 2010 we daily monitored 500+ gull eggs in 200+ nests on Protection Island, Washington. We also examined the impact of El Nino events, nest habitat, laying time, clutch size, and several other factors on hatching success. We used logistic regression and an information-theoretic approach to analyze the data.
