The japanese traceability system and the role of uncertainty evaluation in measurement

The new traceability sys- tem of measurement standards based on the Japanese Measure- ment Law has been established since November 1993. Some refer- ence materials such as metal stand- ard solutions, pH standard solu- tions and standard gas mixtures are included in the system together with relevant physical quantities.
