There are 4 key questions that need to be answered before choosing a new or replacement compressed air system: 1. How much volume of air is needed (cfm―cubic feet per minute)? 2. What quality of air is needed? 3. How critical is downtime or loss of the system? 4. Are there any physical constraints such a space, noise level, or electrical power available? Taking the time to answer these questions properly will provide you with a sound and detailed specification with which to seek out acceptable equipment.
